Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026

1. Who we are

This privacy policy explains how we process your personal data when you visit trynstudio.fitness or use a TRYN Studio membership. The controller within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

GD Invest & Consulting GmbH
Paulinenstraße 21, 70178 Stuttgart, Germany
Email: info@trynstudio.fitness

2. Hosting and server logs

Our website is hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH within the European Union. When you visit the site, the web server automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, date and time of the request, the requested page, browser type, and operating system. This data is required to deliver the website reliably and securely and is not merged with other data sources. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and stable service). Log data is deleted automatically after a short retention period.

3. Member accounts

If you create an account, we process the data you provide during sign-up: first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), password (stored in encrypted form), and your chosen membership plan. We use this data to provide your membership: booking and attending live sessions, accessing on-demand content, and tracking your training progress. Member data is stored in our own member database on servers within the European Union. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract). Your account data is deleted or anonymized when your account is closed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Payments

Membership payments are processed by external payment providers. Your payment details (e.g. card number) are entered directly with the payment provider; we do not store full payment card data on our servers. We receive only the information necessary to confirm your payment and manage your membership. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use only technically necessary cookies and local storage entries, in particular to keep you logged in to your member account. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and § 25 (2) TTDSG (strictly necessary storage).

6. Live sessions

Live training sessions take place via video streaming. When you join a live session, your name and, if you enable your camera or microphone, your video and audio are visible to the coach and, depending on the session format, to other participants. Sessions are not recorded unless we inform you in advance. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

7. Third-party content and CDNs

To display the website correctly, we load certain resources from third-party servers. When your browser requests these resources, the respective provider receives your IP address as a technical necessity:

  • Google Fonts / Google Webfont Loader (Google Ireland Ltd.) — web fonts
  • jsDelivr, cdnjs (Cloudflare) and Amazon CloudFront — JavaScript and CSS libraries
  • Vimeo and YouTube player APIs — embedded video content

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the correct and performant display of our website). Where these providers process data in countries outside the EU/EEA, they rely on EU standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

8. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us, we process the data you provide (name, contact details, content of your message) to handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. We delete this correspondence once your request is fully resolved, unless retention obligations apply.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15),
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16),
  • have your data deleted (Art. 17),
  • restrict processing (Art. 18),
  • receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20),
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21),
  • withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3)).

To exercise these rights, email us at info@trynstudio.fitness. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg (LfDI Baden-Württemberg).

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy when our services or legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
